1. Project Engineer for Data Center


Department: Building Automation
Office Location: Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur
Employment Status: Permanent
Essential duties/responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to handle the project effectively.
  2. Responsible for reviewing contract documents including constructions plans. Specifications and contracts to determine project requirements.
  3. Responsible for creating shop drawings, control schematic drawings and panel drawings utilizing Autocad.
  4. Responsible for selecting proper control devices.
  5. Create equipments list for the ordering required. Assist to request quotation from supplier.
  6. Coordinates delivery of material to ensure timely arrival of goods to meet project installation schedules.
  7. Validates and control project engineering costs.
  8. Provide on-site training to the customers.
  9. Develop and update engineering documentation.
  10. Provide assistance to Project Manager in generating Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
  11. Assist in preparation of costs estimates and budgeting for projects.
  12. Assist in preparation of progress claim and submit to customers.
  13. Responsible for site Testing & Commissioning.
  14. Provide assistance and coordinates with installation subcontractors.
  15. Update job progress status including submit weekly report to superior.
  16. Attend site meetings and resolving engineering and projects management issues when requested.
  17. Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, communication with staff and providing customer feedback.
  18. Coordinates and communicates with Main Contractors and other external projects participants to obtain equipment submittal data, respond and clarify issues.
  19. Assist in service maintenance works.
  20. Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and revert the complaints to superior to solve the issues in the professional manner.
  21. Ensure customer information to be kept confidentially and adequately according to company rules and regulations.
  22. Work with sales team to ensure after-sales service to customer, providing expert advice / consultancy, strengthening customer relationship, etc.
  23. Work closely and maintain good communication within department and other departments.
  24. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  25. Responsible for any other tasks assigned from time to time by superior.
Education and/or work experience requirements:
  • At least a Diploma holder or Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Possess some experience in handling building automation system (HVAC mechanical and controls) will be an added advantage.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, or Japanese (is an added advantage) including ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers and within organization.
  • Required Skill(s): Planning, organization, strong follow-up, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, planning and problem solving.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. MS Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Pleasant, proactive, good team player, self-initiated, responsible & positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and work under pressure.
  • Willing to travel to site or outstation and meeting with customer as required.
  • Possess with own transport & valid driving license.


2. Sales Engineer for Semiconductor


Department: Control Product, Advance Automation
Office Location: Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur

Essential duties/responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the sales & marketing of products and service.
  2. Response to all sales enquiries and prepare for the quotation.
  3. Responsible for meeting customer requirements through service deliveries, establishing customers and identifying potential business opportunities.
  4. Develop and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers.
  5. Responsible to meet yearly target to achieve KPI.
  6. Timely report to superior for the sales activities.
  7. Update customers on company’s new products regularly and obtain their feedback.
  8. Prepare sales reports, presentation, proposal material and update job list.
  9. Responsible to follow up the payment and collection with customers and update to Finance from time to time.
  10. Ensure customer information to be kept confidentially and adequately according to company rules and regulations.
  11. Work with service team to ensure after-sales service to customer, providing expert advice / consultancy, strengthening customer relationship, etc.

4. System Engineer


Department: Advance Automation
Office Location: Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur
Employment Status: Permanent
Essential duties/responsibilities:
  1. Configure hardware requirements and generate application software for Azbil’s Distributed Control System (DCS) based on customer’s specifications.
  2. Involves commissioning the DCS system at site after installation and preparation of as-built project documentation.
  3. Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure integrity, reliability and uninterrupted operation of the DCS and automation systems.
  4. Perform maintenance and oversight of DCS related computer systems include point configuration, creation and maintain of automated reports concerning DCS performance.
  5. Troubleshoot and rectify any problems and carry out programming or modification to the DCS system.
  6. Assist Manager or Project Leader in planning and execution of project plans at site or office.
  7. Prepare and monitor work schedules, project costing, procurement and coordination with all parties involved to ensure work progresses smoothly and is completed within target time and budget.
  8. Generate and manage internal documentation, such as diagrams, procedures & installation/configuration documents.
  9. Liaise with all parties involved in the project including local authorities, HQ members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  10. Attending site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor schedule.
  11. Update each project job status during the progress including submit monthly report to superior.
  12. Participate in customer/contractor meetings and resolving engineering and projects management issues when requested.
  13. Advice superior on issues related to technical integrity of DCS automation systems and provide subject matter expertise for fault-finding and problem resolution.
  14. Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and revert the complaints to superior to solve the issue in the professional manner.
  15. Maintain good relationship with customer to ensure service job is completed on schedule.
  16. Ensure customer information to be kept confidentially and adequately according to company rules and regulations.
  17. Increase capability on product and technical knowledge.
  18. Assist sales team to do the technical proposal and presentation including making proposal to customers for any part or product replacement.
  19. Provide site support for sales teams, which will include assisting with participation in approval review meetings, developing packages for contractors/vendors and perform contractor selection.
  20. Work closely and maintain good communication within department and other departments.
  21. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  22. Responsible for any other tasks assigned from time to time by superior.
Education and/or work experience requirements:
  • At least a Diploma holder or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering majoring in Instrument Automation or equivalent.
  • Possess some knowledge in PLC,DCS, technical/hands-on knowledge in electrical/instrumentation & control will be an added advantage.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, or Japanese (is an added advantage) including ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers and within organization.
  • Required Skill(s): Panning, coordination, communication, interpersonal, organisation, and problem solving.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. MS Excel) and engineering software.
  • Pleasant, proactive, good team player, self-initiated, responsible & positive attitude.
